Our Church Serves Only the Lord Jesus Christ
Immanuel Fukagawa Christian Church is a Protestant Christian church that started in 1956, immediately after the war, with tent meetings in Fukagawa/Sumiyoshi. We have carved out a history here for over 60 years.
We are an evangelical church based on Bible faith. It descends from the Holiness/Methodist movement that originated with John Wesley.
What the church values
Church Philosophy
〇〇Church welcomes all kinds of people to come to worship. We sincerely hope that people of all ages and genders, as well as people from other countries, can worship together and become a good community. The Bible also says, “You are precious and precious in my sight. i love you ” (Isaiah 43:4), we aim to receive the love that was poured out to the people of Shincho, and to become people who love one another.

Pastor
Senior Pastor
Born in Hakkoda. Raised in Morioka. While studying at Tohoku University, he met an international navigator missionary and became a Christian.
After graduating, he pursued a career as a pastor and studied at Seisen Seminary and Kobe Lutheran Seminary.
His hobbies include fly fishing, walking, and studying law.
She is from Hamamatsu City. Se grew up in a pastor’s family and became a Christian when she was in elementary school.
She studied at Seisen Seminary and Houghton College in the United States.
Her hobbies are baking, walking.
