“Life is determined by encounters” is a quote from the philosopher Martin Buber. In life, we run into various troubles, and there are times when we feel like our hearts are about to break. However, in times like these, we have a chance to meet our Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves us with unconditional love, accepts us, and supports us. All Christians have grieved over their own sinfulness and found true love in the cross of Christ. Then, they partook in the hope of eternal life and were transformed into a life of gratitude and joy.
